Impromptu 1974 Beatles reunion on roof of New York City apartment building.

On this day in 1974, all four ex-Beatles find themselves at the same party in New York. After some gentle prodding, they agree to perform a few of their greatest hits on the building's roof. It's recorded by Fred Walinsky on a portable tape machine. The tape today would be worth many millions of dollars had Walinsky not recorded an Andy Williams Christmas album over it later in the year.
