POSTSCRIPT

When I first stumbled upon this novel I was not prepared for the life-changing experience it promised. I'm still waiting. Nonetheless, In the Bubble turned out to be a moderately diverting exercise in experimental writing, although I can understand why the former owner threw it away. In fact, I would urge you to do the same. When you're done with this book, throw it away. Dump it in the woods, or an alley, or any obscure location where its discovery will have greater, uh, resonance. And you -- the next person who finds it -- you should do the same thing, too. Thank you, all of you.
